I have had a sonic elite electric toothbrush for years that works well, except that the last (very expensive) replacement head I bought was giving me trouble. After reading the positive reviews on this much less expensive brush, I thought I would try it. I barely lasted through one toothbrushing session. The action of the brush is so aggressive, my jaw was shaking wildly. I felt like I was in a torture machine. I am used to using an electric toothbrush so it wasn't the adjustment from manual to electric. This is just a wild machine. I won't use it and haven't a clue what to do with it now. After using the Oral-B once, I can see that the investment in the sonic is worth the money.
