I have a variety of ongoing problems with pain management -- mainly a bad uppper quadrant of my back and shoulder and neuralgia in my legs -- and have acquired a veritable army of gadgets to aid with pain relief. Given the high ratings that this Scalp Massager got along with its low price, I decided to give it a try. I wish I hadn't. It might be helpful for someone who had no real pain or relaxation issues, but just needs a mildly pleasant sensation at the end of the day on the surface of the scalp. But for me this did just about nothing whatsoever. It is just a sophisticated way of scratching your scalp.
Items like this are quite personal in the sense that one person might find them helpful while another may not. I did not. But obviously a lot of people here do like it. I suppose my assessment would be like this: if you just want a mildly nice sensation along your scalp, this might not be a bad investment. If you have some real pain issues or have difficulty untensing your muscles due to neuraligia, this is pretty close to worthless. For those of us unfortunately in the latter category, this is likely to feel like a toy instead of something that will do any real good.
