OKay - So here is my take on the Panasonic beard Trimmer: I have a full beard and when the weather gets warm I need to crop it closer to my face. OVERALL I RECCOMEND IT !
The price is really good for this trimmer; I compare it to my brother's Norelco which is more money, he paid about 100 bucks or more.
The Panasonic is much quieter when using ( big plus), and I have to say for me that's a plus because I find loud humming noises super-annoying.
The trimming settings on the Panasonic are pretty good(not excellent), good selection, although a bit misleading because there is a jump in length size from one number length setting to another, for instance you will go from the number 11 length to 14 and between the 11 and 14 is another setting indicated by a dot, no number, so there is no inbetween number between 11-14. This may not seem relevant to other men depending on your trimming needs, but for me its important since I now wear a beard year-round.
The Cut -- the quality of cut is good ( not very good, or excellent) but good enough to be well groomed and use every other day for maintaining a well groomed look for those guys out there that want to sport a beard and dont realize you need to trim your beard regularly to look sharp, otherwise you look bummy without trimming it. BUT You'll need to run it through your beard several times to get all the hairs cut evenly.
Okay so overall in terms of quality cut it almost as good as the more expensive Norelco. I only paid about 25 dolars for it from Amazon so I really got alot of value for my money -- I am still considering upgraing to a better trimmer but for now this one form Panasonic is pretty good for the price - actually when you consider the price its excellent -- go get one!!
