My heels have always been in terrible shape--cracked and scaly. I've tried regular pedicures and special creams for diabetics, and none worked. Someone suggested Heel-tastic to me, and it wasn't available in local stores so I ordered through Amazon.
For this product to work best, you need to wear socks after application, at least for a few hours, to let the product fully absorb and condition the skin. Also it should be applied every day. I've also applied this stuff to my elbows and my posterior heel ligament area which also have developed dry cracked skin. This product works GREAT for these areas too!
The product has a slight odor--kind of like seeds or wheat fields, I think. Probably because seed oils are a primary ingredient. I didn't find the scent to be overwhelming and I asked others if they noticed the smell, all said no. To be safe perhaps users should plan to apply this product when they are at home rather than when they are going out or to work.
