I origianlly purchased this razor for my son but of course I had to try it. I was very impressed by the shave I got from it. The razor cuts close with 1 or 2 passes which reduces irritation and heat from friction. A more comfortable shave than my 15 year old Braun. As others have mentioned, it makes a high pitched buzzing sound when turned on, I didn't find it any more annoying that any other razors noise. I love the ability to wash it under the faucet and not worry about water damage. I normally shave with a blade and still prefer that method.
